Myclient is a distributor for a leading agricultural machinery manufacturer that specialise in a wide range of farm machinery. This is a full time permanent role.
Currently we are looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager to manage the dealer network. This role will require travel within the Munster and Connacht area.
This is a territory based role and the successful applicant will be responsible for the management and growth of sales within the Republic Of Ireland.
The overall purpose of this roleis to successfully develop the dealer network, drive and increase sales leading to increased business and profitability.Duties to include
* Managing and developing the dealer partnership (network) to meet sales targets and business objectives.
* Ensuring dealer visits are carried out and planned on a regular basis.
* Implement initiatives to grow sales within the territory.
* Assist dealers in relation to demonstrations and open days.
* Managing the commercial process in line with company objectives.
* Reporting to the Company Director
* Produce dealer reports and records
Candidate profile
*Have proven sales experience at retail or wholesale level.
* Have a strong technical background.
* Have excellent knowledgeof the farm machinery industry and livestock.
* Have strong communication skills with excellent drive and motivation.
* Havethe desire and the ability to provide our dealers with first class support.
* Attend monthly meetings in Cork as required.Renumeration
