The Company:
Get Recruited are currently supporting a leading events company in Stevenage who, due to growth, are seeking a motivated Conference Producer to join their team.The successful candidate will be joining an established team within the fast-growing business sector producing industry leading international conferences in Europe and North America.
You will be responsible for organising and arranging conferences, whilst identifying viable topics and ideas for conferences. If you are a creative and hard working conference producer, or an experienced events executive this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Conference Producer Responsibilities:
* in-depthmarket research primarily through telephone calls, and initial secondary through online forums etc
* Identify new, interestingand viable topics and business ideas for conferences
* Effectively write programmes of commercial use to the industry to be promoted
* To speak to senior industry professionals in their field to research topics and/or invite to present
* Ensure thatsales and marketing campaigns are maximised and the full potential of the research-driven event is fulfilled
* Managing yourown portfolio of projects you will be responsible for the overall success of the event you produce
* Communicate effectively with the sales, marketing and logistical teams to produce an overall successful conference/event
Conference Producer Skills and Experience:
* Must have at least 12 months conference or event producing/managing experience
* 2-3 years Event Executiveexperience will be considered
* Strong academic background, with at least a 2:2 in your degree
* Commercial acumen, with anunderstanding of the sales and marketing process involved in a successful event
* Great research, communication and interpersonal skills
* A true desire to succeed and achieve goals
* Energy, enthusiasm and desire in abundance
* You will be self-motivated, pro-active and a problem solver to help achieve goals and targets
* Must be able to work flexible hours and is willing to travel when required
