We are exclusively recruiting for as prestigious venue who has seen a significant upturn in business since the reopening with a full schedule of events runningat the Venue all the way into 2022/2023.

Due to demand, they're now seeking to enhance their team and recruit an experienced Conferencing & Events Manager This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced professional who is keen to join a business that has a track record in creating a real wow factor for their guests.

THE CONFERENCING & EVENTS MANAGER ROLE OVERVIEW

* As the Conferencing & Events Manager, you'll beresponsible for ensuring the smooth running from an operational perspective Weddings, Banqueting, Conferences, Corporate Eventsand Private Functions.
* Ensuring a high level of customer service is delivered and that events run smoothly
* Running thebudgets, planning rota schedules, and ensuring events remain profitable
* Leading and motivating the team and ensuring that the appropriate levels of staff are available to facilitate the smooth running of events
* Training and developing the team
*Ensuring Sales & revenue opportunities are maximised
* Handling complaints and promptly resolving

THE PERSON:

* Previous experience in a similar position such as Conferencing & Events Supervisor, Conferencing & Events Manager, Conferencing & Banqueting Supervisor or Conferencing & Banqueting Manager
* Demonstrable leadership, interpersonal, motivationand communication skills
* A proven track record of running a successful, busy function
