Description:
Are you a passionate and motivated Support Worker who can support the customer with any aspect of their day to day living. With the ability to work in a person centred and strengths-based way, assisting the customer to enjoy the best possible quality of life, You'll assist in helping change the customers life for the better byinvolving them and their support network. You'll provide personal care in a strengths-based way to facilitate greater independence, as well as use creative soltions, and assistive technology where available, to support independence.
The team support customers who have complex support needs, including learning disabilities, mental health issues, autism and communication differences, alongside ongoing physical health conditions. While the job is hugely rewarding, it's not always easy, as the customers mayalso have a forensic background and distressing behaviours.
Working on a rota covering various shift patterns which could include days, evenings, weekends, bank holidays and waking nights. You may also be required to do sleep ins or be on call.

Drivers licence with access to a vehicle is preferable, however this isn't essential as you can support the customer by public transport which expenses are paid to cover this.

25 days annual leave (on top of bank holidays) is given as standard, rising a day a year up to 30 days. With the option to buy up to five days extra days leave.
