We have exciting new vacancy's for Healthcare Apprentices within our Community Living Hubs.
As an apprentice, you will have a positive impact on people's lives with support fromqualified staff and on-going training in conjunction with College.
First City Nursing and Care are committed to providing excellent standards of care and support to our customers. We are currently expanding and require 10 apprentices who will embrace our company ethos and values, where you can take pride in being a part of our team.
The Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship is anintegrated programme of knowledge and skills developed alongside core behaviours expected of a competent worker operating in aregulated field. The award of the apprenticeship certificate will signify a recognition of competence in a role and enable progression to higher levels of skills development.
Apprentices will undertake a programme of study in a suitable care setting andcomplete the Care Certificate as part of a high-quality induction programme
The successful candidates will be compassionate,honest and reliable in order to support our customers with all aspects of their day to day living. As an apprentice you will gain valuable hands on experience while completing your studies.
Duties and responsibilities may include:
* Assisting withpersonal care
* Administering medication
* Helping service users with their morning and evening routines
* Preparing meals
* Light domestic tasks
