Description:
A rare opportunity has arisen for a Senior Care Assistant to join our client in Calne. You must be highly experienced in working with the elderly in a residential or nursing home environment and have excellent communication and leadership skills.
Reporting to the Nurse in Charge your role will include:
* Encouraging and promoting a high standard of personal behaviour to all
* Completing the work allocation at the beginning of a shift, ensuring that there is a good mix of skills within the home
* Managing a team of care staff in a mature and professional manner* Working with nurses to maintain Nursing Care Plans
* Providing residents with personal care including renewing wound dressings (under the correct supervision)
* Promoting best practice to all colleagues and providing the best example to all subordinate care staff
Our client is looking for someone who is passionate about providing great care and has the confidence tomanage a team of staff.
The post holder will be required to undertake a DBS check prior to commencing employment
