Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with a young man with cerebral palsy in the Royal Wootton Bassett area of Swindon. A dynamic approach, flexibility, enthusiasm and commitment is required. Applicants must be reliable, motivated and able to work as part of a small but dedicated team and alongside the service user's family. Key responsibilities include personal care, assisting with nutrition and hydration, medication administration, support with day-to-day tasks and promoting independence and well-being both in ahome environment and within the community.
Previous experience in support work is advantageous but not essential as trainingand supervision will be provided.
Candidates must:
* Be reliable, professional, friendly and approachable
* Be flexible and have the ability to work well under pressure
* Have a full, clean UK driving license
* Be trustworthy and honest
* Work well as a team player with good communication skills
