Are you an experienced Deputy Head Teacher or Senior SEN Practitioner looking for your next role in a special school? We're looking for a Deputy Head Teacher to work in a Residential Special School which supports children and young people with profound communication difficulties providing high-quality care, education and therapeutic support. You will be part of an inspiring leadership team working towards the school's overall improvement and to move from "Good" to "Outstanding" Ofsted.
The roles involve taking a lead on strategicleadership level to ensure the school continues to improve in line with current Ofsted legislation. You will monitor the standard of teaching, learning and assessment and will have the opportunity to be creative in the implementation of the school development plan. You will be a key player in developing an individualised and unique curriculum for each young person in the school.You should have;
* Qualified Teacher Status
* Experience working with multi-agency projects and managing a diverseteam of staff.
* Have a working knowledge of a range of Communication methods
* Significant middle leadership or senior leadership experience in a special school setting.
