FACILITIES MANAGER
LIVERPOOL
UP TO £34,000 + BENEFITS
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is recruiting for an experienced Facilities Manager to join their reputable business. The role offers the opportunity to manage proactive and reactive facilities and maintenance projects across a large, multifunctional site.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Facilities Manager who has worked on asite within Education e.g. School, College or University who is looking for a new challenge within a growing and varied site.RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manage Health and Safety across the site and ensure regulation is adhered to
* Develop and implementpolicies and procedures
* Ensure regular checks are carried out across the building and site and necessary action is taken* Day to day management of facilities issues and reacting accordingly
* Direct Line Management for Facility Management personnel
* Responsible for planned refurbishment projects and preventative maintenance
* Budget management for current & prospective projects
* Management of internal building fabric/hard FM projects
* Project Management of live projects from cradleto grave
* Conducting tender processes to select contractors for both Soft & Hard FM projects, undertake negotiations withsubcontractors and suppliers to provide a cost-effective service and monitor the delivery of the services
* Working closely with the Health & Safety Manager to ensure projects operate safely
* Responsible for the physical security measures of thesite
* Ensuring all live projects are delivered within the agreed time line
* Regularly review and implement new processes & procedures
* Updating and maintaining the central maintenance log
* Working closely with the management team to producestrategies
* General management reporting
THE PERSON
* Current experience of working within a Facilities Manager rolefor an Education Provider
* Degree qualified or equivalent within Mechanical Engineering
* Strong communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
* Computer literate with MS Office
