Interim SEN - Educational Health Care Plan Writer
Duration: 3 months (potential extension to 6 months)
Daily Rate: £150-£190
Role details
Brand new opportunity with a Local Authority who are looking to bring on a skilled Plan Writer into their high functioning SEN team. The reason for the role becoming available is to support the high levelsof new EHC requests.
You will be entering a dynamic team specifically supplying children with Special Educational Needs within the local area. You will be adding real value to the Local Authority, by looking to develop plans which include clear objectives and create positive outcomes ensuring close collaboration with colleagues across the Local Authority, key stakeholder as wellas service provider.
Key experience required:
* Writing new Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and also transferring Statements to EHCPs.
* Liaising with multi- disciplinary agencies, parents and carers.
* Amending statements of specialeducational needs as required in order to reflect changes in needs or provision.
The interim role will be for a minimum of 3months with a potential of extension to 6 months, with a rate between £150-£190 dependant on experience.
