Overview:
Reporting to the Field Service Manager ,you will be responsible for service and repair of the complete range of Professional appliances installed invarious commercial applications, companies & businesses. Some nationwide travel, occasional stays away from home and out ofhours work may be required. Therefore, flexibility is an essential requirement. It is imperative successful applicants are highperforming Technicians in the field, with role model behaviours. Acting as Brand and Technical Ambassador, you will promote andmaintain a premium customer experience at all times.
The Role:
* Carry out Field Professional Service Technician duties as and when required in line with customer requirements and Service KPI demands including planned maintenance, fault diagnosis /repair and electrical safety testing.
* Develop and maintain service plans for the product scope, explore new business, i.e. service contracts, planned maintenance schedules, etc.
* To ensure all prepping of jobs, spares returns, vehicle maintenance, software downloads / updates and emails are undertaken on a daily basis.
* Assist call planners and service partners in resolving problem calls quickly and efficiently, if and where appropriate.
* To attend and satisfactorily complete designated companyapproved technical training courses (provided both internally and externally).
* You will be required to attend training and/ or meetings that may require overnight stays.
The Person:
The successful candidate will have a very high level of general technical knowledge of Laundry appliances / applications and dishwashers. Experience in Professional appliances i.e. medical washer disinfectors / laboratory washers would also be an advantage. A gas qualification is desirable together with solid IT skills.
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated with excellent organisational and communication skills, demonstrates good practice and a good team player that will ensure our customers receive a premium level of service.
