Mechanical Design Engineer - Contract Role - 6 Months - Cambridgeshire - £35-£45ph
My client is a leading developer of battery systems and are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team on a contract basis.
Your role will primarily include the design and development of electro-mechanical and mechanical components and assemblies for battery products and power electronics ranging in size.
Essential Experience & Skills include:
* Full product lifestyle
* Experienceworking in a multi-functioning team
* Design & Simulation using SolidWorks (Shock, Thermal & Vibrations)
* 3D Cad Modelling
The successful candidate will also have experience in batteries or power supplies, they will have experience in thermal management of electronic controllers and will have worked with the design of plastic, sheet metal, die castings and injectionmouldings.
