Mechanical Design Engineer
£35 - £40 per hour
6-month contract

A large, well-established company that operate on a global scale are hiring for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work on a number of their latest bespoke products. The company's focus is on high quality equipment and components.
The role will involve working on full product lifecycle, especially with plastics. As well as this, you'll be working on designing tailored products and providing ground-breaking ideas within a team of 7 engineers reporting into the mechanical engineering manager.
For this role the company is ideally looking for:
·SolidWorks experience
·Mechanical Design background
·Manufacturing knowledge
·Injection moulding/plastics experience

The rate for this position is £35 -£40 per hour and this may vary depending on the level of your experience. It is initially a 6-month contract although after speaking with the Engineering Manager there is a high likelihood of extension due to plans on further projects.
