I'm searching for a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join a company who specialise in the design and development of complex sensor technology, predominantly for the Aerospace and Pharmaceutical industries.
This successful start-up (and spin-out from Oxford University) have recently increased their head count and have plans to continue this growth further in order to support the work being done for their increasingly varied product portfolio.
These products are designed and built to withstand extreme and harsh environments in order to monitor conditions and deliver data in real time. This is done through prototyping the best designs afterrigorous testing, resulting in bespoke products which have applications in multiple industries.
As Principal Mechanical Engineer, you can expect to take on a lead role within the team whilst remaining hands on throughout all aspects of the product development lifecycle.
Requirements:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
* Extensive experience in a Mechanical/Electromechanical design role
* Knowledge of enclosures
* Analysis of designs using FEA etc.
You can expect to receivea salary of £60,000 - £70,000 plus a range of benefits including a 5% matched pension and Bupa private medical care for you andyour family.
