Mechanical Design EngineerSwindon (Some Remote Working)
£30,000-£45,000
I have just got off the phone with the Director of a Swindon basedcompany who have just engaged with me exclusively in search of a Mechanical Design Engineer for their team off the back of winning yet another large project.
This growing company have recently won three EU projects, with varied challenges, so are now urgently looking for a hands, on solution finding engineer to tackle each of these tasks, which may include 5G Antennas, geothermal drilling and an electrostatic jet.
They are passionate about R&D and are looking for someone to join the team who is excited to get involved in all aspects of the product development lifecycle!
Requirements:
* Experience in a Mechanical Design role
* CAD (ideally SolidWorks and Fusion)
* Design for Manufacture
* Modeling (COMSOL)
* Metal Fabrications (advantageous)
* Plastic Injection Moulding (advantageous)
The role will be based out of their Swindon office, however, they are offering up to three days remote working. It will be an initial 12-month FTC but a very good chance this will be extended or evenbecome a full-time employee after that. The starting salary for this role is £30,000-£40,000 with a pay review after the first3 months' giving you the opportunity to increase your salary to £45,000 Per Annum.
The Director is urgently looking for someone and an immediate start is possible. The interview process will be a video interview where you will be asked to talk through your CV experience and portfolio.
