Mechanical Engineer - Gloucestershire - £42,000 Per Annum

My client is based in Tewksbury and are industry leading for their innovative work within research and development and are looking to welcome a Mechanical Design Engineer to their quickly growing team!
My clients focus is within the Electronic and Cyber Security sector andhave already worked on a number of projects with have saved life's in combat zones all around the world - specialising in forceprotection, Information assurance/ Data encryption and advanced cyber warfare solutions.
They are currently looking for people who are looking to make a real difference to national security and saving lives by working on the creation of new advanced defence technology such as radio jammers, data encryption devices, directional finders and many more!
As a member of the CyberSecurity division some of your responsibilities will be to contribute to the development of Electronic Warfare products throughthe product lifecycle and to develop the design through to volume production.
Suitable candidates will have:
·Experience designing fabricated, machined, injection mould and die cast electronics enclosures for EMC
·Good working knowledge and proficient using 3D mechanical CAD tools, preferably Autodesk Inventor
·Able to carry out thermal and structural analysis of designs throughout the design phases
·Familiar with the design of rugged electronics enclosures for harsh environments
·Experience usingCFD simulation tools tailored for electronics cooling
