Metrology Engineer - Medical Technology

£35k + benefits and bonuses
Role and responsibilities:
*You will enable clients and stakeholders to understand components and provide feedback to operations teams, design engineers and process developers*Leadership of the qualification, development and implementation of metrology technologies for characterising engineering components
*Management of internal equipment and fixtures and wider team reporting. Close coordination with manufacturing and designteams is required, as well as liaising with 3rd party suppliers.
*Development of metrology solutions including software and instrument qualification
*Run existing internal metrology equipment - OGP & TESA
*Plan internal metrology deliverables in line with priorities of projects
Requires skills and qualifications:
*Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design or similar
*5 years' relevant experience within metrology
*Contact and non-contact experience on OGP and TESA metrology equipment
*Metrology fixture design
*Gauge R&R
