My clientis actively seeking a Senior and a mid-level Design Engineer to work on various electro-mechanical applications for the military/ space sectors.

My client design and manufacture high performance systems and components for applications including electromagnetic, RF / Microwave solutions, microelectronics and various others so this will be a highly varied role.

As part of thisrole you will be creating electro-mechanical design solutions for my clients' Product Design team. For the Senior position, youwill also be supporting Production Engineering to produce product build documentation and TEMPEST Engineers to ensure productsdesigned meet TEMPEST requirements.

Requirements:

·Degree in Electrical & Electronic or Mechatronics with a minimum of2 years design experience
·You will have experience in designing and drafting using 3D and 2D CAD tools, preferably Solidworks& AutoCAD
·A strong understanding of manufacturing processes and their associated cost drivers
·Experience designing electro-mechanical enclosures, sheet metal and machined components an advantage
·Basic understanding of UK TEMPEST standards
·Basic understanding of UK & US Military EMC and Environmental Test Standards
·Ability to obtain SC clearance
