iO Associates have partnered with a leading defence companybased in Stevenage in their recruitment across Engineering Disciplines and I am currently searching for an Engineer who wants the chance to challenge themselves in one of the best funded & leading technology companies in the UK.
The company work in the UK Defence sector, as such will require you to be SC Clearable (Please note that you don't need current SC Clearance),and have a passion and drive to delivery quality engineering solutions at the forefront of designability.
This role is for a Structural Dynamics, therefore will rely on your ability within numerical modelling; test mothodology and reaction to external impact on structures and an ability to communicate problems and advise the design team on feasability and best practice methodoligies.
This role is crucial in the development of products for this company and you will be working within a professional and motivated team to delvier these solutions, as well as having access to the best training and development for you to become a leader within your field.
In order to be conisdered for this role, you will need demonstrable experience in the following fields:
* Numerical based tools (e.g. Optistruct, RADIOSS, NASTRAN) to investigate and assess structural dynamic (e.g. modal, vibration and shock) problems.
* Good problem solving skills
* Ability to communicate ideas
Ideally I amlooking for someone with a relevent degree; MsC or PhD within their field but other qualifications of a similar level will alsobe considered.
