Role: Digital Electronics Design Engineer
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000
iO are currently working with a company that specialise in test & measurement products for network and equipment, testing to the latest telecom standards. Withthe implementation of 5G networks and consistent development in speed and efficiency of the telecoms sector, they have experienced significant and continued growth in their requirements, leading them to add several members to the R&D team.
Workingin a multidiscipline hardware and software engineering team, this is an opportunity to work with some of the most engaged and professional engineers in R&D who enjoy a collaborative working environment and a company that is structured to help people achieve continued excellence.
This requirement is for a VHDL Design Engineer in which the requirement is to develop highly performing VHDL targeting the latest FPGA architecture, the successful applicate will blend a strong background in Digital Electronics with a capacity to innovate as part of a fast paced environment.
In order to be considered for this role you will be demonstrable experience in the following fields:
* Creating new, high speed FPGA digital design
* Project based engineering anda ability to estimate time frames that you can deliver on
* Proven VHDL Design Experience
* Ability to define digital architectures
If you have experience in Xilinx or board level schematic designs then this will be a massive bonus, though not essential.
In return you will be looking at a salary of £45,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience) as well as a strong pension plan, flexible holidays and several personal healthcare options.
