NATIONAL ACCOUNT DIRECTOR
LONDON
£60,000 / £85,000 + COMMISSION
THE OPPORTUNITY:
We'reexclusively supporting a world leading business who is looking to expand their team with an Account Director as part of their strategic expansion plans taking part over the coming months.
As a Account Director your role will be to support the developmentof the business through the growth of a portfolio of profitable business using the approved insurer panel. To provide technicalsupport to clients and where appropriate to your colleagues.

ACCOUNT DIRECTOR RESPONSABILITIES:
* To develop effective relationships with Clients and Insurers to maximize business opportunities, achieve your income targets and other relevant Key Performance Indicators.
* To work within your stated License limits and in accordance with standard systems and procedures.
* To place business with the agreed Insurer Panel, referring unusual and/or complex cases to an experienced colleague.
* To develop the skillsof your Account Manager fostering a culture of autonomy, freedom and empowerment.
* To undertake generalbroking activities asrequired including dealing with;
* Client queries and correspondence.
* New Business, Renewals, and Adjustments. Ensuringeffective reviews of sums insured, limits and covers, with clear communication of terms, conditions, warranties and pricing.* Timely completion of risk requirements following Insurer surveys.
* The effective management of your diary.
* To ensuretimely adherence to Credit Control queries.
* To embrace ideas and suggestions of their staff, ensuring regular and effectivecommunication through 1:1 meetings.
* To attend meetings, training and other company events as requested.
THE PERSON:* Good working knowledge of General Insurance contracts including Property, Casualty, Motor, Financial Lines and Marine and awareness of Aviation.
* Good IT skills on core Microsoft office systems.
* Good track record on pipeline management, sales, client retention and relationship development.
