Panoramic Associates are delighted to be partnered with a leading Lloyd's broker in their search for a Compliance Assistant. You will be supporting the Compliance Manager and Head of Operations in managing the day to day compliance and operational functions.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain regulatory logs for E&O's, Complaints, Gift and Entertainment, Conflicts of Interest, FinancialPromotions, Suspicious Activity etc
* Maintain the regulatory deadline timetable
* Perform due diligence checks on all new clients, insurers and agents
* Work with the Compliance Manager to create and update the annual Compliance Plan
* Work with the Compliance Manager with the implementation of a conduct risk framework
* Work with the Compliance Manager on the implementation and continued monitoring of a risk management framework
* Research regulatory changes pertinent to the business and enforced by the FCA and other regulatory agencies and disseminate to the business as appropriate
Experience:
* Some background in compliance
* Consultative approach
* Analysis and reporting
* Organised and self-motivating.
* Insurance Broking knowledge is preferable but not essential, particularly within Lloyd's
* Being proactive in keeping knowledge up to date
