MANCHESTER
£25,000 to £27,500 + HYBRID WORKING

THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited are proud to be representing another of the UK's most well known Insurance Brokers who have over 120 staff located across 6 branches.They are now looking for a Account Handler to join their thriving Manchester team. As a successful business with over 125 yrs experience they pride themselves on the services they offer to their clients and the working environment they offer to their staffand the ability to offer Hybrid working is one such aspect. Also offering significant help when it comes to further qualifications such as CII, ACII etc.

As an Insurance Account Handler you should have a minimum of 1/2 yrs experience within High Net Worth or Commercial would be sufficient. CII qualified would be advantageous although not essential. This will be a fast-paced environment working with various clients to arrange cover for both new business and renewals.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Provide a market leading broking service, focused on providing quality customer service and positive outcomes for their clients.
* Develop a strong working relationship with your brokers, our insurers and other service providers.
* Ability to trade with insurersto obtain best possible terms for our end customers.
* Adding value to our customers at every interaction.
* Dealing with problems constructively, looking to solve the root cause of day to day issues faced, engaging with the team leaders and management.
* Ensure to support team leader, undertaking tasks delegated where required.
* Supporting the business placement strategylaid out by the Insurer Relationship & Placement Manager.
* Adhere to the Broking Team Standards for both new and existingbusiness.
* Ensure you have the appropriate knowledge for your role and work with your team leader to create a development plan.

THE PERSON:

* Should have a couple of year's experience working within a insurance broking capacity in eitherHNW or Commercial
* GCSE or equivalent education is required, with A Level, degree level education and CII qualifications being preferable but not essential. Experience and use of MS Office is required, and prior experience of using Broking software world be preferable but not essential.
* Strong influence and negotiation skills will be required when dealing with insurers and Brokers.
* Ability to persuade and influence others
* Ability to identify and match products to clients requirements
