We are seeking talented Software Design/Test Engineers for our client a leading employer in the Limerick. The client leverages its software, hardware and debug expertise to deliver bespoke custom engineering solutions. You will be a part of thousands of engineers worldwide to develop complex embedded applications. The client develops and delivers complete embedded hardware and software solutions.
Skills:
* Develop test designs and test cases forverification and validation of product functionality through automated tests.
* Analyze and decompose a complicated embedded software system and design a strategy to test this system.
* Understand user behaviour and develop test cases that factor environmental and manufacturing tolerances.
* Document traceability of tests to associated functional and non-functional requirements, justifying efficient and effective coverage.
* Participate in review of product specifications with respect to testabilityand provide feedback.
* Collaborate in international, multi-site development in an agile environment.

Experience Required:
* Experience with automated testing and test automation tools.
* Typically, 2-5 years' experience.
* Comfortable working with Embedded Systems Programming and Jenkins.
* Understanding of validation techniques for sensors and sensing hardware.
* Experience in Jenkins Automation Server
* Experienced in Python Scripting, Smart Cards and C/C++ programming
* Passion for quality and an advocate for the user.
* Detail-oriented with ability to work independently on broad projects.
* Strongcommunicator with a proven track record of working collaboratively on complex projects.
