My client an award winning and fast growing Cloud focused IT Managed Services business is looking to add a talented Head of Product Management (Cloud Services) to definea Cloud focused strategy and solutions package that enable their customers to gain the best products to support their journey.You will have experience of working within an IT services' business where you will have experience of working with a variety ofmid to enterprise size customers. You will work with the leading technology vendors and introduce new ones to ensure you are building the best products on the market for clients.
You will be building and spearheading the strategy for your team of product specialists to " execute the plan" and work with 3rd party products and wrap around Managed or Professional Services. You willlead a small team of technically focused Cloud Product Managers whose skills and expertise stretch across; Cloud, Networking and Security products (heavily into IaaS, PaaS, UCaaS). Enhancing the quality of products and services delivered will ensure margin growth and will be one of the key measurables for you in this role.
You will be leading a team or technically focused CloudProduct Managers and looking for a new opportunity where you can help build, re-define my client's product roadmap and work closely with the Practice Leads of their business, sales function (successfully changing client experience in both corporate and public sector) and liaising with marketing and operations to ensure what is delivered is consistent across all technical service offerings. It is key that you have experience of developing greater margin yielding simple but clear value added product solutions to customers across one of more of Cloud platform and data (Microsoft Azure Public and hybrid Cloud), Agile workspace, Security and Networking. It is essential that you are used to not purely working for a business which re-sells / white labels Microsoftproducts but adds real and clear value to customers helping to ease their business obstacles.
Other responsibilities include;
* Leading and ensuring sales volumes, revenue, margin and customer satisfaction are met
* Work closely the seniorsales team and marketing team
* Be responsible for the Product Management Practice (Lead a team of Product Managers, Marketingand overall performance (recruitment / retention of staff)
* Leading the product roadmap, development and price / cost management
* Challenge your team on product ideas and creativity ensuring the best possible outcome to help our customers
* Vendorand supplier relationships
* Decision making on "end of life" legacy services and updating with slicker modern propositions* Confident and influencing on team and senior stakeholders within the business and with customers
* Report into Executive and Board level teams on performance and results
* Be commercially focused on all margin and revenue accountable to the Productpractice
It is important that you have helped to build new products around IaaS & PaaS (ideally Microsoft) and have worked for a Managed or Professional Services business and understand the challenges your customer and competition pose. You will need to be within commuting distance to London perhaps 1-2 a week - be it with the team, business or with customers. Living withincommuting distance to London / South-East is important as you are likely to be based here c1-2 times a week and you will be contracted to the London office. Salary on offer for this role is c£120,000 + 25% bonus and equity (valued at sale of around c£250,000!).
