MANCHESTER

THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is working with a vibrant andexpanding law firm close to the heart of Manchester City Centre who are looking to expand their existing team with an experienced Legal Advisor / Paralegal to join their highly successful Housing Disrepair team.

Experience within Housing Disrepair is not essential for the role and full training will be offered!

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage a caseload of Housing Disrepair and some Personal Injury cases* Review and value reports from Surveyors
* Carrying out quantum assessments/reviews and formalising case plans
* Regularlyupdating clients on the progress of their cases
* Ensuring cases are handled compliantly
* Using Proclaim to manage all cases and record all files and paperwork
* Working towards targets on a monthly and annual basis
THE PERSON:
* Experience in a similar Legal Assistant / Legal Executive / Paralegal / Fee Earner is essential
* Knowledge of or experience in Housing Disrepair is desirable but not essential
* Manage a large caseload with minimal supervision
* Self-motivated and able to workquickly
* Professional manner and strong communication skills, both written and spoken
* Strong time management skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a range of individuals
* Experience with Proclaim
