Get Recruited are supporting a global leader in their field who, due to exponential growth, are seeking a Mandarin speaking Assistant Buyer to join their growing team.
As the Assistant Buyer, you will be responsible for interacting with the supply base on a regular basis, negotiating contracts and monitoring the stock levels. You will be developing new opportunities through working withdifferent departments within the business, conducting market research and implementing strategies.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Mandarin speaking Assistant Buyer who has a positive, can-do attitude coupled with the ability to spot opportunities for growth. THE ROLE:
* As the Assistant Buyer, you will be negotiating with suppliers to ensure the best cost
* Strengthening and initiating relationship with suppliers to ensue excellent levels or serviceand quality are achieved
* Working with the factory/logistics team to maintain appropriate stock levels
* Participating inthe development of new products and components
* Reviewing supply base and exploring alternatives who may be more suitable
*Identifying ways to maximise profit and over achieve the budget
THE PERSON:
* You must be fluent in both Mandarin and English, with excellent written and verbal skills
* Experience as a Buyer or within Procurement is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
* An understanding of the leisure industry is preferred but not essential
* Analytical thinker with the ability to think outside of the box
* Commercial awareness with strong negotiation skills
* Willing to travel extensively throughout Europe and beyond
* Valid Passport
* Driving license is desirable but not essential
