Get Recruited aresupporting a global leader in their field who, due to exponential growth, are seeking a Key Account Manager to join their growing team.
As the Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a sales team covering the UK market, identifying opportunities for growth and conducting market research. You will be proactively engaging with key clients and partners both in person and over the phone, whilst identifying prospective partnerships.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Key Account Manager who has a positive, can-do attitude coupled with the ability to spot opportunities for growth and motivate a sales team remotely. THE ROLE:
* The Key Account Manager will develop a solid understanding of the range of products, to be able to support new and existing customers via the phone and email with any enquiries
* Responsiblefor developing and identifying new business opportunities through market research and strategy whilst establishing productive relationships with key personnel in customer accounts
* Oversee a UK based sales team, attending meetings with key clients andoverseeing all training needs
* Meet targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives
* Proactively leads a strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets and critical milestones over a period of time
* Achieving sales quota for the UK and achieving assigned strategic account objectives
* Leading the customer account planning cycle, ensuring that all key accounts' needs and expectations are met
THE PERSON:
* Minimum of 3 years ofstrategic, national sales, national account manager, account manager, business development manager or partnership manager rolesis essential
* Financially savvy individual
* Previous experience of leading, coaching and recruiting a remote sales force* Flexible approach to work as some travel across the UK will be involved
* An interest in sports is desirable
* High attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
