Account Manager - Field Based
Liverpool
Up to £45,000+ Company Car + Commission
The Company:
Get Recruited are currently recruiting for a transport and logistics company.As a result of growth, the company are searching for a field-based account manager to join their growing sales team. This roleis perfect for a driven and hungry sales person with an excellent track record of building relationships and growing accounts.If you have experience within transport and logistics, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Account Manager Responsibilities:
* Making regular contact with existing customers to develop the business relationship
* Develop andgrow existing customer accounts by cross selling and upselling
* Research the marketplace to establish links with potential new customers
* Liaise with business & finance Directors to understand business strategy
* Continuously introduce and develop new customer accounts
* Report any Customer complaints to General Manager and Managing Director
* Discuss, document, report and submit quotations as per customer request
* Produce weekly sales reports, updating management on old and new accountsAccount Manager Skills and Experience:
* At least 3 years experience within Transport, logistics or haulage* Proven success within an account management sales role
* A creative approach to solving problems
* Excellent communicationskills
* A strong work ethic, willing to put in the extra hours to enjoy results
