CUSTOMS /IMPORT & EXPORT CLERK
TRAFFORD PARK (CURRENTLY WORK FROM HOME)
UP TO £37,000
Get Recruited are currently supporting a leading company based in Trafford Park who operate within the electrical industry. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a motivated Customs / Import & Export Clerk to join their successful and growing team.
As the Customs / Import &Export Clerk you will be responsible for managing all customs, clearance, duty and charges in the import/export team.

THE ROLE:
* Reviewing and checking import and export declarations
* Determine preferential origin declarations
* Document and analyse sales flows and activities
* Assist with updating IT Tables and system tests following any changes
* Assist with audits on internal processes and external partners
* Act as a point of contact for colleagues regarding customs queries
* Complete ad hoc duties asrequired
* Using SAP, Visualise sales orders to customers and purchase orders
* Monitor and manage Warehouse stock and movements on SAP
* Management of export control and restrictions responsibilities, embargo and SPL
THE PERSON:
* Experience within a Customs / Import / Export / Logistics / Distribution / Freight based role is essential
* Excellent working knowledge of SAP
* Excellent communication skills
* Full driving license is essential as travel to another office is required
* Strong Excel skills
