Kenect Drivers are currently recruiting for experienced LGV1, HGV1, Class 1 drivers for ongoing, driving work with our Atherstone based client
The contract is operational 24/7 therefor we have shifts available to suit your preference including day or night shifts. Weekend shifts are also available.
* You will need to complete a security clearance processand pass a driving assessment*
As a LGV1 Driver the work will involve:
- Start times Days are usually between 06.00-18.00(Monday to Friday)
- Start time Nights are usually between 18:00 - 06:00 (Monday to Friday)
- Trunk Runs from Depot to Depot, RDC
- All trailers are box trailers
- No Handball involved
- No handball involved
- Weekend Shifts are also available -start times to suit
- Must of held licence for a minimum of 1 year
- Maximum of 9 points on licence - no DR, DD,CD
The pay rates for the role of the LGV1 drivers are:
Pay Rates:
The pay rates outlined below for this role are inclusive of holiday pay for PAYE workers. The rates listed below also apply for Limited Company drivers.
- LGV1 (Mon-Fri) Day runs = £15.44 p/h increasing to £18.64 p/h after 36.25 hours per week
- LGV1 (Mon-Fri) Night runs = £17.81 p/h increasing to £18.64 p/h after36.25 hours per week
- LGV1 (Weekend) Day runs = £18.64
- LGV1 (Weekend) Night runs = £18.64
- You will be 'guaranteed' a 'minimum' of 8 hours per shift.
All drivers shall need to have a minimum of 12 months LGV1 experience
