WAREHOUSE MANAGER
CHESSINGTON
Upto £26,000 + Excellent Benefits
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is working with a market leading, global company who are looking to recruit a Logistics/Warehouse Manager to join their existing team in Chessington.
Primarily, the Logistics/Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing all stock, deliveries and Health & Safety in the warehouse and all purchasing ofstock for resale.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
* Stock management for the warehouse, including planning future capacity requirements
* Responding to enquiries daily
* Maintaining inventories and controlling inventory levels
* Manage Health & Safety procedures (including risk assessments, training and regular checks)
* Maintaining accurate records for all activities on aCRM System
* Ensuring accurate records are help for goods in and goods out
* Identifying system improvements and recommending areas of change
* Ensuring the warehouse space is used efficiently
* Reviewing waste for the site and ways to improve this
* Develop and maintain policies and procedures for different metrics across the warehouse
* Working closely with the Customer Services team to ensure order/delivery standards are met
THE PERSON:
* Experience within Warehouse Management including managing large volume of stock
* Computer literate with excellent knowledge of all aspects of Microsoft office
* Excellent attention to detail and able to problem solve
* Confident communicator and adaptability to deal with colleagues, customers and suppliers at all levels
