Description:
A leading wholesaler of agricultural-hardware and steel is currently looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative for their steel operations. This is a full-time permanent role.
For this role you will be an experienced Forklift driver and have demonstrated experience in a Goods In/Goods Out environment.
Job location - Cork City
Contract: Full time perm
Hours: Mon - Fri (08.30 - 16.30) no shift or weekend work required
Rates: Competitive hourly rates (Time and a half for overtime)
Reporting to the Supervisor you will be responsible for the following
* Process customer orders for dispatch.
* Ensure that all orders are processed in a timely and efficient manner.
* Maintain 100 % accuracy on all orders.
* Work as part of a team & perform quality checks on all orders before dispatch
* Working with different types of steel, hands on role
* Forklift duties
* Driving a Gantry crane
Candidate profile
* 1-2 years forklift experience essential
* Previous experience of working with steel an advantage but not necessary
* A team player with strong attention to detail
* Experience driving a combilift would be an advantage
* Experience driving an in house Gantry Crane would be an advantage
* Manual Handling
* Living within commutable distance to Cork City
