Get Recruited are currently supporting a market leading manufacturer based in London who, due to exponential growth, are seeking an Account Manager to join their growing sales team.
As the Account Manager, you will be covering the south of England. You will be responsible for managing a number of existing accounts whilst also identifying new opportunities for business.
The ideal candidate has experience within the KBB, construction or building materials industries and is looking to progress their career within a highly reputable company.
THE ROLE:
* As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing new relationships and growing thecustomer base
* Maintain existing relationships, maximising revenue from the accounts
* Communicate on a regular basis withyour line manager, updating them on account activity and visit reports on a weekly basis
* Monitor the levels of merchandisingmaterials and samples in your region
* Attend networking events in order to generate new business
* Liaise with the team inorder to maximise opportunities with customers
THE PERSON:
* At least 2 years experience within a new business / business development / account management / telesales / field sales / area sales / territory sales role is essential
* An understanding of the KBB, construction or building materials industry is highly desirable
* Full, UK driving license essential
* Salesforce knowledge is desirable but not essential
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
