ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT - 6 MONTH CONTRACT

Get Recruited are currently supporting a leading, multi-national company who, due to growth, are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their finance team on an initial 6 month contract.
As the Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting the finance team in the preparation of monthly financial accounts, whilst reporting key financial information and reporting on financial control procedures.

THE ROLE:
* As the Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting the finance team in the preparation of monthly financial accounts
* Preparation of daily/monthly bank reconciliations for Sterling, Euro, USD and HKD accounts
* Reconciliation of all Balance Sheet Accounts
* Detailed monthly Profit and Loss analysis
* Preparingand posting of month end stock, purchase, sales and nominal ledger journals
* Processing all vehicle leases in like with policies
* Posting all vehicle leasing payments
THE PERSON:
* At least 2 years' experience within an accounts assistant, finance manager or assistant accountant role is essential
* Full or part professional qualification such as AAT, ACA, ACCA is highly desirable
* Excellent communication skills are key
* Experience of working with an ERP system would be desirable but notessential
* High attention to detail with a methodical approach to work
* Able to work at a fast pace whilst working well within a team
* Ability to adapt and follow the instructions of management
