Description:
Our client, based in Cork city environs, requires a raw materials buyer.
This role reports into the operations manager and will have responsibility for ensuring that purchased materials are available for production on schedule and at the best price.
You will deal directing with the supplier base.
You will develop effective relations with suppliers.
You will enjoy document control and administration and be highly computer literate.
You will identify and deliver cost saving projects and support costestimate and quotation process on new product and new business quoting.
You will be responsible for vendor management and supplier performance reviews.
