The two main products we manufacture are fine gas atomized metal powders and Controlled Expansion (CE) alloys. We are looking for talented individuals to help us deliver on these plans.
Owing to our growth plans, we are currently looking for two CNC Programmers to join the group and drive the machining section to improve quality and productivity for the business. The successful candidates will work within the team to supply bespoke, cutting edge machined components in to a wide range of exciting markets including defense, aerospace, space and semiconductor.
Job summary
- Provide expert offline programming and support using CAD/CAM (OneCNC) software.
- Drive Machining area output and performance.
- Provide daily support and trouble-shooting for CNC machining operations.
- Design and implement jigs & fixtures and produce 2D drawings and 3D models with machining programs as required.
- Develop, implement and verify Product databases for all products. Drive continuous improvement and process optimisation in all aspects of CE alloy machining.

Your profile
You will be an experienced CNC Programmer (CAD/CAM and 3D modelling) with a HNC/HND or equivalent qualification or experience in CNC Machining. You will have experience of leading teams and driving continuous improvement. Excellent communications skills and good levels of numeracy, literacy and IT proficiency. The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday on 2 shifts. (6am - 2pm/12pm - 8pm)
