Ourclient, based a commutable from Drogheda (north side of Dublin) requires an Electro/mechanical maintenance technician/engineer.This role has come about due to expansion and reports into the Operations Manager.
You will be joining an established, award winning food producing company (NOT meat). This family owned company has grown and supplies their high value/high quality product directly into the supermarkets. The state of the art facility is eco friendly (own wind turbine) and set in a beautiful soft landscaped location.
This role requires early (6am) and late (2pm) starts, Monday to Friday with Saturdays by rotation and Sunday call out "an exception".
Your duties will include:
* Carrying out general electronic and electrical maintenancerepairs as they arise
* On-going preventative maintenance of all plant and machinery
* Participation in problem solving activities. Electrical and mechanical process trouble shooting.
* Complete electro-mechanical repairs to high speed food processing, handling and packaging equipment.
* Supply technical support for the plant facilities & services including compressedair, steam, refrigeration and effluent plant.
You will be a qualified or time served Electrician/ Electro Mechanical Engineer, with previous maintenance experience gained in a HIGH CARE FOOD/PHARMA/BIO facility.
You will have worked in a highly automated manufacturing environment/high Volume, highly automated facility. You will be an expert on PLCS and control panels.
