Description:
Our client is seeking to hire a skilled Senior Financial Accountant, to jointheir team and take the next step into a management role as a Finance Manager.
You will be a Qualified Accountant with a commercial mindset and at least 1-2 years oversight responsibility for team members.
This is a busy role with great potential for the right candidate.
Guide to Duties
Finance Business Partner to other functional areas of the business
Financial lead for site, managing a team of two Assistant Accountants
Preparation, review, and finalization of monthly accounts to strict deadlines including input to corporate system covering:
Month end close of ledgers and preparation & posting of journals
Preparation of statutory accounts to include the coordination & management of the annual audit process
Liaise with internal and external auditors
Annual budget preparation and monthly forecasting
Annual standard cost roll preparation, review, and implementation
Monitoring all costs and preparation of variance analysis/analytical review
Ensure financial controls and processes are robust and maintained in day-to-day activities
Key Skills
Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA or CIMA
4 years + PQE
Experience in a Manufacturing environment - Desired
Ability to meet tight deadlines and balance conflicting priorities
Ability to understand the end-to-end process flow of the business and how they impact the financials
