My client manufactures world-leading instruments for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Their products combine the best science with Top of the class engineering to advance scientific research and are driven by a passion for innovation, quality engineering and first-class customer support.
They are now looking for a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing team. This role requires someone with strong technical skills who can work on complex products. There is a strong mechanical element to this role, and the candidate is expected to be very much hands on. As an idealcandidate you will be flexible, proactive and work well with colleagues across several inter-disciplinary teams.
On a day today basis you'll be ensuring engineering issue are resolved, working with suppliers to improve quality, process and cost controlwhilst liaising with the development team to resolve product technical issues. It'll be up to you the ensure the smooth transfer of new products into Production using established NPI process techniques and implement GMP taking responsibility for the quality and continuous improvement of the products.
Ideally you'll have been working in a similar role with complex electro-mechanical products and have experience of working in a high technology low-volume manufacturing business.
