My client a leading Medical Device manufacturer based in West Sussex is looking for Quality Engineer to help with a range of activities involving QMS development and Project work for their highly complexElectronic products and systems.
On a day to day basis you will be providing a QA service during the Manufacturing phase including test and inspection planning, process capability assessments and liaison with suppliers.
You'll also be performing internal & external audits, developing core suppliers by doing vendor assessments and reviewing corrective actions developing the supplier's quality programmes.
On a whole you will be maintaining a developing the QMS, taking lead on some QA activities and providing training and guidance on quality and regulatory matters.
To be successful in this role you will need:
* Degree or NVQ level apprenticeship in Electronic or Electro-mechanical engineering discipline.
* Recent experience working withinthe Medical device or other highly regulated industry
* Good knowledge of ISO13485 / FDA CFR820 with a good understanding of process approach to QMS implementation.
* Ability to work cross functionally and manage different tasks simultaneously
In return you will receive a competitive salary between £45,000-£48,000, 25 days holiday (excluding bank holidays), Pension, PrivateHealth-care and a bonus of up to 10%.
