QSHE Engineer
Swansea
£35,000 PA
The Company:
A dynamic and market leading company that supplies equipment and technology to gas users throughout the UK is seeking a QSHE Engineer. My client has several areas of business including equipment sales, manufacturing, reconditioning and service.
The Role:
The position will cover responsibility for the quality, health and safety and technical support for two operational sites in Swansea and in Kingswinford and a team of national service engineers. This is a permanent position, hours are Monday - Friday 08:30 - 16:30.
About You:
Welcoming applicants that are flexible and can provide support in all aspects related to the QHSE function and technical support.
Ideal Requirements:
Are a Professional Engineer
Have at least 5 years' experience in a role within either QualityAssurance or Health and Safety
Have Experience in the gas or petrochemical industries
Have a working knowledge of the PSSR and the Gas Safety Regulations
Preference will be given to those with manufacturing or service experience within the gas /
LPG industry
Have a General Certificate in Health and Safety or will commit to obtainingthis qualification
within 12 months
Have a good working knowledge of IS09001 2015 and ISO 45001
Havean understanding of Kaizen principles
Have excellent communication skills, both in speech and writing, and can communicate at all
levels of an organisation
Are professional, reliable, disciplined and loyal to both the company andyour colleagues
Are an experienced user of Microsoft Word, Excel and are computer literate in general
Havea full, clean UK driving licence
