Description:
Our client, based in Tipperary, requires a Quality Assurance Manager to join their site leadership team.
You will be responsible for people and quality systems management.
You will be joining a tight knit team that has a really nice mixtureof both new hires and well established employees. The current Quality Manager (who has been with the company for 10+ years) hasbeen promoted internally and there will be a supported hand over period. You will be joining a company which actively encouragescareer development and a well known household brand.
Do you have a Food Science Degree coupled with a minimum of 10 years experience in a Food/Bev manufacturing facility, with 3/5 years Quality management experience?
Are you an expert in BRC compliance, auditing and well instructed in ISO22000. You will have strong communication skills as you will be liaising with other department senior managers and need to be able to communicate effectively and assertively.
You will drive performance and delivery and manage audits and investigations.
You will manage the approval of new vendors and the validation of all new systems, processes and procedures.
You will have a coaching mindset and ensure all site employees are trained to the appropriate standard in line with the plant quality standards.
You will have strong technical/quality management experience gained in a food/beverage manufacturing facility.
