Our client, based in Cork (serviced by bus route) requires a senior quality assurance specialist. M-F 8-430/830-5
You willbe joining an expanding Irish owned company that was established in the 60's, but has constantly evolved and kept up with the changing times!
You will be part of an established quality team (4) and will work alongside supportive staff who have been withthe business for many years.
The role is critical and requires someone who has a passion for quality, documentation control, auditing and a keen eye for detail.
In the senior quality assurance specialist job you will focus on quality management systems.You will have responsibility for all Quality Assurance matters within the company, and being the internal voice of our customers, with particular focus on our Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2008) and Food Management Systems.
You will liaise closely with Quality Control to ensure a seamless response to Customer Requirements with respect to Specifications, Certs of Analysis,Customer Complaints etc.,
* Do you have a relevant 3rd level qualification in a Food Science or related subject or have demonstrable experience in a quality management role?
* Do you have at least 5/8 years previous experience Quality Assurance role, ideally in a supervisory / manager position, and with a Food Safety bias?
* Do you have good knowledge of HACCP, BRC and Food Safety standards, ideally FETAC Level 6 accredited in HACCP Management?
* Do you have ISO Lead Auditor accreditation and experienced in execution of audits in an FMCG environment?
* Documentation and compliance for FSSC 22000
