Description:
I'm currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy team in Clara, Co. Offaly.
You must havea forklift license for this role.
ROLE OVERVIEW
You will be responsible for receiving, handling and storage of all raw materials within the warehouse department. Is responsible for movement of raw materials between warehouse and production floor andorganising shipment of finished products. Reporting to Warehouse Supervisor. This is a shift based role.
* Receiving, handling and Storage of raw materials in the warehouse.
* Staging of raw materials for the production floor.
* Control of stockand cycle counting within the warehouse department
* Operation of Fork Lift, Reach truck, Balers, Pallet wrapper and core cutting machine in line with safety guidelines.
* Performing inspection of all raw materials at receiving stage and reporting anydefects to warehouse supervisor/QA Department.
* Maintain the warehouse so that it is clean and tidy at all times.
* Ad hocduties as directed.
* Acts as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities. Works in conjunction with the EHSManager to establish and maintain all policies and programs to assure a safe working environment
REQUIREMENTS:
* Good Teamwork
* Excellent communication skills
* Decision making ability coupled with the ability to work on own initiative and with minimum supervision required.
* Good Computer Skills required.
* Sound problem solving skills
* Forklift, Counterbalance and Reach license required
* Elevated Work Platform license desirable
