Description:
My client, based in Hertfordshire, is currently searching for a Clinical Programmer to join the team on an initial 6 month contract basis.
Responsibilities:
*Provide and deliver SAS programming solutions based on existing deliverables from CDM to assist and enhance VA deliverables to wider PD Organization
*Ensures the needs of VA are met with regard to data manipulation via SAS for medical data review and dose-escalation decisions; including anytherapeutic-area-specific or molecule based data visualizations to meet ever changing critical business needs
*Assist and liaise with VA with technical solutions to enhance the data manipulation on ongoing and future initiatives.
*Ensure Data integrity and quality of CDM deliverables prior to use by VAMs in creation of Spotfire outputs for the PD Organization
*Act as a single point of contact between VA and CDM for identifying and communicating errors in CDM datasets.
*Able to assess, clarify and makesuggestions to improvements to existing programs, processes and standards to CDM/VA to increase efficiency and quality of VA outputs
Experience Required:
*University/College degree (either Biological Sciences, Computer Science, or Statistics)
*Practical understanding of SAS programming concepts and techniques appropriate to the pharmaceutical industry
*Prior experience with analytical/statistical data analysis tools such as Tibco Spotfire preferred
*Excellent communication, interpersonal skills*Ability to organize and prioritize assignments efficiently
*Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
*Demonstrable understanding of clinical trial conduct preferred
