Description:
I am delighted to assist my client, a leading Private Hospital in Dublin, in recruiting for a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 for Theatre, Anaesthesia & Recovery.
This is a unique position in a dynamic, state-of-the art facility and candidates must possess strong leadership qualities. The ideal candidate must act as a role model to promote best practice in the delivery of nursing care and provide clinical expertise and support within the Inter Disciplinary Team.
The role will involve coordinating and leading a team of staff in the implementation and provision of the highest quality patient care and they will be responsible for the quality of patient care in their area, manage resources, lead the team and be accountable for nursing activityin their area.
Essential Criteria
* Registered General Nurse with The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
* 2 years management experience desirable
* Strong clinical knowledge with special interest in Theatre, Anaesthesia & Recovery
*Excellent inter-personal skills
* Leadership and management skills
* Knowledge of issues relating to nurse education and development
* Up to date knowledge in clinical practice for general medicine and surgery
* Management qualification/educational preparation to degree level desirable
