FRS is currently recruiting for an experienced Consultant in Emergency Medicine in a leading hospital in the Leinster Region of Ireland. This role will allow the successful candidate to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment and continue your career in emergency medicine.
The role of an Emergency Medicine Consultant carries a significant amount of responsibility and they are avital member of the Emergency Department. As the specialist individual whose duty it is to ensure patients receive the best possible care, it is a challenging but rewarding post. The work of a consultant goes beyond caring directly for patients, they areoften leaders of the multidisciplinary team and are heavily involved in the training and development of junior doctors and students.
Taking on this position enables a highly motivated experienced medical professional to develop new skills and to apply their extensive knowledge in a challenging but worthwhile and exciting environment.
Essential Requirements:
* IMC registration or in the process of registering with IMC
* Relevant qualifications
* 5 - 10 years' relevant experience post-graduation* Previous research in clinical specialties with a number of publications
* Irish or UK experience desirable
* ExcellentEnglish skills (IELTS certificate with an overall band score of 7.0)
