FRS is currently recruiting an exceptionally motivated experienced Consultant Radiation Oncologist for a leading hospital in the XXXXXX Region of Ireland. The successful candidate will work as an important part of the multi-disciplinary team providing unparalleled patient care in a well-runmedical centre with modern, advanced facilities.
The role of a Consultant Radiation Oncologist carries a significant amount of responsibility as they are a vital member of the Oncology Department. As the specialist individual, whose duty it is to ensurepatients receive the best possible care, it is a challenging but rewarding post. The work of a consultant goes beyond caring directly for patients, they are often leaders of the multidisciplinary team and are heavily involved in the training and development of junior doctors and students.
Taking on this position enables a highly motivated experienced medical professional to develop new skills and to apply their extensive knowledge in a challenging but worthwhile and exciting environment.
Essential Requirements:
* IMC registration or in the process of registering with IMC
* Relevant qualifications
* 5 - 10 years' relevant experience post-graduation
* Previous research in clinical specialities with a number of publications
* Irish or UK experience desirable
* Excellent English skills
