NEW BUILD CARE HOME - EDINBURGH



Pre-opening, you can expect to support the Care Home General Manager to recruit the right team, set out marketing strategies, and prepare for operational readiness.

Post-opening, you will support the Care Home General Manager to continue to develop a coherent and effective team who provide the quality care our residents deserve.



About You:
To join us as a Deputy General Manager, with a SVQ Level 4, you'll have proven experience in helping residents with different health needs and a successful track record of managing safeguarding investigations. We'll also look for some HR experience, a strong knowledge of sales and marketing and an understanding of budget management. Finally, you'llbe compassionate, resilient and determined to deliver quality care in our engaging and energetic environment.



The IdealDeputy Manager (RGN/ RMN) candidate has:

* Person centred care approach
* Ability to undertake stress whilst implementingthe right attitude
* Good Understanding of Medical Terms and Measurements
* Ability to communicate effectively (Written andVerbal)
* Reliable, Flexible, and Motivated
* Warm approach and empathetic character
* A Registered General Nurse/Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification

Responsibilities for the Deputy Manager (RGN/ RMN) include:

* Provide care for theresidents daily undertaking direct nursing and general care, as required, including periods on night duty if necessary
* Contribute positively to the setting and development of measurable standards of care relevant to the speciality
* Responsible for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation, and evaluation of care programmes
* Contribute to the professional development of trained staff, encouraging the development of research based practice, with a view to meeting PREPP requirements
